Created with artist Caris Jackson at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Collage Us celebrates the energy and individuality of young people across the city.
Over four summer sessions, groups of young creators met in a new space to explore identity through collage – layering colour, imagery and text into portraits of belonging.
The result is an artwork alive with movement and meaning, where every fragment tells a story. Collage Us is a testament to Wolverhampton’s youth: what inspires them, excites them, and makes them unique.

This artwork is part of a nine-piece Visual Arts Trail across Wolverhampton, co-created by young people and artists through hands-on workshops. Five artworks are now installed and ready for you to explore on the trail! Artworks 6 to 9 will be created and installed in late 2025 and early 2026.
