Decades In The Making (2026)
Created with young people from Wolverhampton and artist Charlotte Webb, Decades in the Making explores identity, style, and self-expression from diving into the decades of the 60’s through to the 90’s.
In the final workshop, participants travelled back in time, immersing themselves in the fashion, music, film, and cultural movements that defined each era. Using curated materials, they imagined who they might have been and brought those characters to life through collage.
Bold hairstyles, iconic looks, and personal touches merged layer by layer, creating one-of-a-kind figures that reflect both past and present youth identity. The result? A vibrant, collective artwork where eras collide, creativity thrives, and generations connect.
