Welcome to Spring 2023 -What’s on this spring?

Spring is a special time at Newhampton Arts Centre, and this year’s lineup is one of the strongest we’ve had in recent years.

We’re kicking off the season with two musical legends, Jazzie B of Soul 2 Soul and Miki Berenyi of Lush, as part of Wolves LitFest 2023.

Our live concert series is also not to be missed, with performances by Robert Forster of the Go-Betweens, the returning Kingdom of Madness, and the Julie July Band.

Folk fans won’t want to miss Lady Maisery, one of the hottest acts in the UK right now, and jazz enthusiasts will be pleased to see Xhosa Cole’s return to the spring Jazz in Wolverhampton season.

In addition to our music offerings, we have a full schedule of theatre and spoken word events, including performances by Spoken Lyrik, Peter Chand, and Pentabus Theatre’s new show One of Them Ones. For families, we have Lempen Puppets entertaining young and old during half-term, and Kitchen Zoo doing the same over Easter with Hey Diddle Diddle.

And finally, mark your calendars for the end of May, when Newhampton Arts Centre will be hosting the second Wolverhampton Film Festival. Keep an eye out for more details on this exciting event in the spring.

We’re proud of the hard work our team has put in to bring such a diverse and exciting lineup of events to audiences in Wolverhampton, and we can’t wait to welcome you in 2023. So make sure to check out our spring season and come experience all that Newhampton Arts Centre has to offer.
