IST IST’s Album ‘Light A Bigger Fire’ Reaches 25th in the Charts as They Bring Their UK Tour to Wolverhampton on 9th October
IST IST has hit an impressive milestone with their latest album Light A Bigger Fire reaching 25th in the Official Album Charts. This achievement comes as the post-punk Manchester band continues their UK tour, which will see them perform at the Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton on Wednesday, 9th October.
Since forming in 2014, IST IST has gained a formidable reputation for their intense live shows, performing at iconic Manchester venues like The Ritz and Gorilla. Their success has been driven purely by word of mouth and a strong DIY work ethic, without any traditional label or management support. Their powerful post-punk sound, often compared to the likes of Joy Division and Interpol, has set them apart, with the band carving out their own unique space in the music scene.
Light A Bigger Fire is the follow-up to their previous album Protagonists, which peaked at number 41 in the Official Album Chart earlier this year. The band is particularly proud of this latest release, with frontman Adam Houghton declaring, “Right now, this is the best version of us.”
IST IST’s live shows remain a cornerstone of their success, and their Wolverhampton gig promises to be no different. The band’s recent performances have been met with high praise, with multiple shows across the UK and Europe selling out. Tickets for Wolverhampton are selling quickly, and fans are encouraged to book soon to avoid disappointment.
Don’t miss out on seeing IST IST in Wolverhampton on 9th October.
