Newhampton Arts Centre (NAC) is thrilled to announce the launch of the NAC Collab Club, a unique monthly gathering that brings together artists and art enthusiasts for collaborative creation. The first project is set to make a splash in the local art scene with a community mural project inspired by the vibrant essence of Whitmore Reans.

Event Details:
Date: Sunday 25th February
Time: 11 AM – 3 PM
Location: Newhampton Arts Centre

The NAC Collab Club is more than just an art workshop; it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration. The first session invites participants of all skill levels to contribute to a large-scale mural, which will be prominently displayed outside the Newhampton Arts Centre.

This event is open to everyone aged 11 and over, from seasoned artists to those who have never held a paintbrush. The aim is to create an inclusive environment where creativity can flourish. All materials for the mural will be provided by NAC, ensuring that participants can focus solely on their artistic expression.

In addition to the art-making experience, attendees will enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

“We’re excited to see the diverse talents of our community come together for this project,” said Ewan, Community Development Officer at NAC. “Art is a powerful tool for connection and expression, and we can’t wait to see the collective creativity of our participants come to life on this mural.”

The NAC Collab Club is a testament to the Centre’s commitment to accessible art experiences. No booking is required for this free event, making it easy for anyone to join and contribute to this collaborative art piece.
