This summer, West Park in Wolverhampton will transform into a world of light, music and movement as it welcomes the extraordinary Moonorooni Colourscape sculpture on Sunday 3 August 2025, as part of the Same Difference Festival.
Colourscape is a unique, inflatable installation made up of interconnected tunnels and chambers, each one glowing with vibrant colour. Inside, live music and dance performances bring the space to life, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you are toddling, wandering or simply soaking it all in, Colourscape invites you to explore at your own pace and experience the magic in your own way.
Presented by Wolverhampton Arts Centre, this event is part of the Eye Music 2025 Tour titled Symphony of Connections. Musicians Ansuman Biswas, Sylvia Hallett, Michael Ormiston, David Stevens and Beibei Wang will perform inside the sculpture using unusual and imaginative instruments including Tibetan Singing Bowls, waterphones and an amplified bicycle wheel. Dancers Conn Williams and Daisy West will add a visual element to the performance, responding in real time to the sound and space around them.
Sessions run between 11am and 4pm, with live music from 11.30am to 3.30pm. Each ticket provides up to 30 minutes inside the Colourscape experience.
Ticket prices are £15 for a family ticket, £6 for adults and £4 for children.
A previous visitor described it perfectly: “Not sure who enjoyed it more, me or the kids! It’s crazy fun!” – Muddy Stilettos
Advance booking is highly recommended as this event is expected to sell out. Book tickets and find out more.
