We’ve been busy planning a special outdoor music festival this summer named Folk at New Horizons, this will be Folk an the NAC’s first ever folk festival.

The festival is due to take place on Saturday 3rd July 2021, originally a theatre date for welsh folk super group Calan. The Folk at the NAC team have been working hard over the past months – adding to line up and creating a whole day filled of live music in our brand new outdoor performance area.

The New Horizons Stage is the NAC’s response to COVID, allowing live music to resume once again in the city. The big-top style tent stage will be situated in our central courtyard which during COVID restrictions will be operated without side walls – allowing for 100% external ventilation and events to be presented ‘as outside’ but under canvas.
