Metal Engraving Workshop

Join us for an immersive, hands-on metal engraving workshop and discover the artist within you!

Discover the rich history and intricate techniques of Ghalamzani, the traditional art of metal engraving, in a unique, hands-on experience.

In simplified method that replaces traditional techniques such as bitumen moulding, fire, acid, or heavy hammering with a safer, more accessible approach using packaging foam sheets and thin copper or aluminium (0.1 mm).

In this one-day session, participants will explore the craft under expert guidance, gain practical experience, create their own engraved piece to take home, and develop an appreciation for this ancient art form.

The workshop is designed to be both enjoyable and rewarding, focusing on skill development, troubleshooting, and deep engagement with the craft, making it perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

– creating texture and decorative designs
– finishing your own engraved artwork
