Drummer Dave Rowntree is releasing a book of exclusive, intimate, never-seen-before photographs of Blur early in their career.
The founder member of Blur bought his camera along to all of the band’s first adventures. He used it to capture insider moments: close-up pictures of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and himself in the thrilling early stages of the band’s rise to the top.
Wolverhampton Literature Festival will be welcoming Dave to join us in conversation about his one-of-it’s kind document of what it’s really like to be in a young band in vital first years. He’ll give a unique insight into the first few years of one of Britain’s most successful and well-loved bands, from one of the only 4 people who knows what it was really like.
There will be a chance for audience members to put their own questions to Dave, view a selection of his favourite photos and grab a signed hardback copy of his unique visual insight ‘No One You Know’.
