Christmas Stocking Sewing Workshop

Join the Stitchcraft Workshop for a 3 hour session to make your own lined Xmas stocking, choose from adding an appliqué initial or a cuff and make something that can be used year after year.

For this class you will need:-
• A sewing machine.
• A basic knowledge of sewing with your machine.
• A Sewing Kit:- Scissors, Thread, Pins, Tape Measure etc.
• Optional:- Fabric. I will have fabric that you can use but if you have a specific one in mind please bring it along, you will need fabric for the outside (half a metre) of the stocking, fabric for the lining (half a metre) and for the cuff (half a metre) and appliqué (scraps) if you are adding them. The amounts listed will be more than enough to complete the project with some left over.

This workshop is for confident beginners upwards, you will be using a straight stitch and a zigzag stitch as well as applying interfacing (provided) you must be able to thread and use your machine.

You will take home with you a beautiful handmade stocking that you can use for yourself or gift as well as written instructions with photos and a pattern so you can make your own at home.

Time:- 11am to 2pm
Price:- £35 per person
Age:- 13 years + (anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult)

These sessions are open to people aged 13 and above but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

All materials are provided, however, if you have a certain fabric, beads or embellishment’s you wish to use please bring them along.
